What We Make
We have an offering comprising cakes, cupcakes, koeksisters, tarts and puddings. The favourite thus far being koeksisters. We have in that category the Cape Malay (Spiced) Koesister and the Afrikaans (Braided) Koeksister.
Among our delicious confectioneries is our deconstructed Milk Tart and classic Malva Pudding. We're developing a few more to bring you a more of what you love.

We want to provide you with our deliberate good quality and flavourful confectionery in a way that's safe during the Covid-19 pandemic. It is to this end our confectionery is available for purchase via 3 delivery platforms: this website (Nationally), Mr D Food (Baywest/Brymore vicinity) and Whatsapp (Port Elizabeth).
About Our Bakery
We started our baking business journey in 2018. We started with custom cakes and made our first custom cake for sale in October of that year - a 4 layer red velvet sponge with American buttercream and ganache drip. Before that, Marchay had been baking since childhood and Bhongo couldn't whip a cake up until about a year prior.
We made a few of these cakes while we lived in Johannesburg until 2020. The last of which was a challenging 2 tier chocolate cake for a 60th birthday. We relocated to Port Elizabeth at the end of 2020.
In came 2021 and we knew we wanted to continue baking and rethought what we could offer. This led us to broader confectionery. We've been making kick-ass koesisters for a few years now. We started there and developed a few more South African favourites with our meticulous care and passsion for flavour.
This is us now; a couple baking excellent confectionery from their home kitchen.
